Digital identity
Sign-up, sign-in and permissions for customers and employees: strategy, platform selection, two-factor authentication, consent and migrations.
What it is
Every time a customer creates an account, an employee signs in or a supplier reaches a system, identity management is at work. When it works, nobody notices. When it does not, you get abandoned sign-ups, shared passwords, accounts nobody closed and GDPR problems.
It is the area where our founder has the most experience: more than fifteen years in software architecture and systems integration, seven of them specialised in an enterprise customer identity platform, from the vendor’s, the consultancy’s and the client’s side.
What we do
- Identity strategy How your customers, employees and partners should register, sign in and manage their data, and which systems handle it.
- Platform selection A comparison of options against your requirements, total cost and vendor lock-in.
- Single sign-on and two-factor authentication With open standards such as SAML 2.0, OpenID Connect and OAuth 2.0, for fewer passwords and more control.
- Consent and the GDPR Consent records, communication preferences and data minimisation, built into the sign-up process itself.
- Platform migration Planning the move so users do not have to register again and the service is not interrupted.
- Access control An inventory of accounts and permissions, joiners and leavers with a named owner, and supplier access that does not stay open.
What you receive
- A documented identity architecture, with the decisions and the reasons behind them.
- If there is a platform selection, a reasoned comparison and a recommendation.
- A phased implementation or migration plan, and our support during execution if you need it.
Frequently asked questions
Do you work with a particular platform?
We recommend the option that fits your case best, which is sometimes the platform you already have, better configured. If any of the options has a connection with us, we tell you.
Can we change platform without users registering again?
In many cases, yes, by migrating accounts in phases. It depends on how credentials are stored today and what both platforms allow, and that is the first thing we check.
Do you also handle employee identity?
Yes. The requirements differ from those for customers, but the principles are the same: one account per person, just enough access and a clear process for joiners and leavers.
